We are just a few former Bob-Lo employees and
friends who found each other again in 2007. One
thing we still had in common after all these
years, were our memories and the time we spent
together doing one of the best jobs of our
lives, and missing our Bob-Lo summers!
Therefore, we began trying to locate more of our
former friends and co-workers and 4 months later
we all reunited for our first reunion aboard the
Detroit Princess.
In 2008 we found a few more of our old gang and
enjoyed our 2nd reunion aboard the former Bob-Lo
Gibraltar boat The Friendship cruising the
Detroit River once again.
In 2009 we decided to go back to Bob-Lo Island,
so that we could enjoy the island once again, as
well as get more of the former island employees
involved.
In 2010 we again enjoyed the island and our
confirmed contact list has grown from 3 people
when we started, to more than 300 Bob-Lo crew
members!!
2011 marked our 5th consecutive year of
reuniting old friends. So if you worked at
Bob-Lo, whether it was on the island, boat, dock
or office, we hope you will contact us!! Join us
for a chance to have a very rare opportunity to
be on the island again, reunite with some old
friends & share all those great Bob-Lo
memories!! |
